Great For Art Prints
The media could not be loaded. I am a stay-at-home mom who loves to paint and I’ve recently decided to have a go at selling my art prints! Over Christmas, I treated myself to an Epson 8550 EcoTank printer along with this Epson Premium Presentation Double Sided MATTE Paper. The paper I purchased is in a pack of 50 sheets that are 8.5” x 11”. So far it has been working out wonderfully. I’ve been printing 8” x 10” on the paper so that I can also offer 8” x 10” Matting, but they also look great printed with no border. I’ve had no issues with smearing/smudging while printing borderless on the paper. The matting I’m using was also purchased on Amazon. I am extremely happy with the quality of the Epson paper and don’t think I will ever change! I’ve also heard that it’s best to pair Epson papers with Epson printers. My printer has a preset setting for Presentation Matte Paper so I just go with that every time and the colors come out vibrant and accurate to the original paintings. The paper is smooth, but sturdy. I’ve noticed a slight curl in some of my prints, but it’s no problem once they’re popped in a frame or between matting. Overall I love this paper and I’m excited to try out larger sizes! There are a few things that I have learned along the way when trying to create art prints at home.At first, my prints kept coming out much darker than the original painting and I hope these suggestions can help out fellow artists who have been running in to the same problem.• Take your photo of painting in INDIRECT but bright sunlight (this helps capture the colors better)• You will always have to edit your photo in some way prior to printing• While editing your photos, do it in a dim lit room with your computer monitor brightness at about 20-25% max• This step is crucial- Make sure your printer setting is set up to match the same paper. Ex, with Presentation Paper Matte, select matte setting.• I have found printing in AdobeRGb to work the best

DONT USE THE MATTE SETTING ON EPSON ECOTANK!
I was shocked to find this paper is INCREDIBLE!BUT!~ I got a better sharper text by at least 50% printing it at regular paper cardstock setting! Sharper image the color isn't noticeably darker, it has a clarity that you would not believe set to standard paper! It says on the box to set it to presentation matte and the ultra setting etc but after really playing with it, don't. Just do the regular setting. The black text lost the 'weird yellow blur' it was printing and came out clear as a bell with 12 pt type. I had been fighting with the color scheme too and wah lah! It was the setting. I hope this helps someone using an Epson ET 15000 ecotank. That's what I use anyway, and it was Epson brand ink too, so I know it was not that. :D I will be using this paper for my professional children's science nature handbooks and really expect the satin matte to be welcomed because the colors just pop without the gloss. (Being a workbook they need to be able to write in it) the thickness is pretty thick, but that satin feel...I still sometimes grab a page just to feel it...am I the only one? Cheers!

Excellent quality.
Let me start off by saying that paper DOES matter. I've purchased over 6 different brands of paper not buying the epson paper first ( I just purchased the Epson ET-8500) What a learning experience... I finally purchased the epson paper and WOW!!!! seriously, I am so impressed... I was actually considering sending back my machine thinking there was something wrong with it...NOPE, it was just the other paper. and some of it was really expensive. I'm sold!!! I finally found my paper. When looking at the pink flowers the muted one is from a very expensive paper, the one next to it is the epson.

Excellent photo paper!
Just purchased this paper for the second time in a few days. I am thrilled with the quality of the printing of vintage photos when using this paper in my Epson printer. I changed the print density depending upon the look of each photo and found the resulting printed images to be crisp and clear with the look of a professional print. Thanks to the recent reviews of other users, I took a chance on this paper and am wowed by the results.

"Thin paper", but not thin enough for my purposes.
I was looking for a good, double-sided, paper for comic printing so I needed thinner paper for this. The prints came out very crisp and clear on both my Epson eco tank and my cheap HP Envy printers. There was almost no dry time needed for duplex printing, and no streaking when letting the printer do the duplexing itself without me checking in on it. I printed in sets of 14 pages, and everything went through the printer with no hiccups and clean, borderless prints. All that said, though, this is a bit thick for comic prints, but finding double-sided paper for high-quality printing at home while also being thin enough has been a challenge. This will work for a comic with only a few pages, but it will be hard to bend the pages/lay them flat after having more than 10~12 pages to bend in half.

Received my product in pristine condition. Great service overall.
Double-Sided Matte Paper is the ideal paper for printing sales brochures, greeting cards, newsletters and photographic portfolios that require both photographic image quality as well as the versatility of two-sided printing with no show-through. Produces bright, vibrant images and crisp dark text. Heavyweight, two-sided, coated paper has a smooth finish and is compatible with all inkjet printers.
