New-Nissin - Raoh, Japanese Instant Ramen Noodles, Pork Bone Soup, 14.8oz (for 5 Servings)[Japan Import]

I buy these on subscribe to feed the 4 hungry 20-somethings in the household. Rich, creamy, aromatic broth and springy delicious noodles.These Nissin Roah instant ramens are the only ones I've found with outstanding quality and flavor where the noodles are not fried in palm oil. Eat as a snack or make it a full meal by adding in veggies and a raw egg, tofu, or some cooked meat at the end. A slosh of good-quality soymilk (kirkland or trader joe organic unsweetened) at the finish is another nice way to enrich the broth and cool it off to eating temp at the same time. Highly recommended.

Very good. The little packet of pork fat is clutch. Much more flavorful than most packaged ramen.

First off, the packaging doesn't match the picture but that's totally not a big deal at all.As for the actual ramen, it's the imported Japanese version, which is definitely much more true to hakata tonkotsu style than the American version. The noodles are thin and firm, as they should be, and the broth is rich with pork flavor and has that slightly sticky umami flavor that a decent tonkotsu should have.I do have access to a lot of good ramen restaurants in the area including chains like ippudo from Japan and this ramen won't replace that. But for basically 2 bucks a pop this is absolutely fantastic and very convenient.

I can't speak for the product itself, but had to choose a rating to warn people. We we waited 50 days from the day we ordered this ramen only to receive a letter stating that our order was confiscated by U.S. Customs for having meat (pork) and not allowed entry into the U.S.

This stuff is a waste of money. The flavor is barely any better than the USA version of raoh tonkotsu. Itsuki tonkotsu and marutai tonkotsu are both much better than this.
