Carole Martin Slip-On Wireless Comfort Sleep Bra for Women

I bought this bra because I recently had open heart surgery, leaving me with a 10" incision along my sternum and needed an extremely comfortable seamless bra so it wouldn't hurt my lower incision that runs down across where the bra band would be. I read the description "Comfort Bra, Seamless, No underwire or Stiff Elastic to irritate your skin."When the bra arrived I was deeply disappointed. The company obviously does not know what Seamless means. And the packaging and description are 100% wrong! See the pictures as proof. There are seams everywhere, and big ones. There is a thick seam a the left side of the body band, seams along the sides of the bra itself, there is a seam all the way around the body band, which IS a 'Stiff Elastic that irritates the skin'. An irritating piece of elastic sewn to the inside front to create a sInched look along the cleavage seam. This bra is anything but a "Comfort Bra". I was so disappointed because the description and pictures made it look like a one piece soft micro fiber fabric much like the Barely There crop top bras, but it was definitely Not. I'm returning it.Also, I ordered up two sizes from my norm so the bra wouldn't fit to snug over my incisions and this bra is physically the same size as my other bras.

** Updated review 7/9/17: the seller sent me a smaller size at no cost & it fits perfectly. Carole Martin read my original review and sent me an email offering a different size bra at no cost. I replied, requested a size 40 (instead of the 42 I originally ordered) and it fits perfectly. The straps are the right length, the band under the cups is very comfortable and the gathers beneath the cups are invisible when the bra is on. This is some of the most amazing customer service I've seen in a long time. I never expected to receive an unsolicited offer for a FREE replacement asking for nothing more than an updated review - be it positive or negative. Thank you! I'll definitely order Carole Martin products in the future - maybe even another one of these bras because it's incredibly comfortable. I'm an average 'B' cup and the bra fits perfectly. I normally fit in size 42 so the band does run a bit large - but I would rather have it a bit large than the other way around. Excellent customer service. Thanks again. **Runs very large and the gathers at the bottom of the cups are very visible. The straps are also too long. Because the cups are 'one size fits all' there's no way to buy a smaller cup that might allow the gathers to be less visible. I'm an average 'B' cup and the cups were MONSTROUS on me! I recommend the Bali 103J ('Barelythere Women's Microfiber Crop Top' / 'Bali Women's Comfort Revolution Seamless Crop Top'). Both of these bras are very comfortable although they don't provide a tremendous amount of support. I'm wearing mine inside the house and for very light yard work such as watering plants. Unless you're small busted or wearing a loose T-shirt I wouldn't wear these to the store. I think they're more suited for sleeping and for women who need a small amount of support at all times. I've had reconstructive breast surgery 4 times and the Bali bras are so comfortable I can wear them all day & barely know I have them on.

These Carole Martin bras are the MOST COMFORTABLE I have ever worn!!! I hate wearing bras but these bras are so comfortable I can wear them all day. Usually I undo my bra as soon as I get in my car but these I can wear all day. I cannot recommend these enough. Most women will say they hate wearing bras but I know they would love Carole Martin bras because I do & I hate wearing bras.

This bra is perfect for the older figure, which is me!! Comfort is key for me and this bra fits the bill. Been a long time since I have been able to find a comfortable bra that fits well but does not make one look saggy. I am well endowed, full figured woman and do not want to look like I am displaying a mountain range out front in my clothes. This bra washes well. I put it in the washer and air dry it which takes no time at all. All good!!

I have ordered and returned so many bras- even the Carole Martin cotton one that hooks in front- and was about to give up until I gave this one a shot. I am a month past breast surgery so pulling something overhead is not an issue, but it would be if someone was wanting this right after surgery. Still, since I need to sleep in a bra I wanted something that was comfortable and offered some support. Many I tried have seams that would dig into me as I sat down .This is so smooth and comfortable to wear and I love the way it looks, too! Would look nice under t-shirts. I also ordered one in black. If you want to sleep in a bra and not feel like you have anything on, this it the one!

Edit Jan. 2020:I now own two of these, one in black and one in beige, in the same size, and practically live in them 24/7, except when more structured support is socially called for. They’re THAT comfortable.FYI: there appears to be some degree of sizing inconsistency within this model, or perhaps from color to color. My beige one feels a bit looser in band and cup fit than the black one, so much so that I actually considered returning it at first.Original review:Overall, I’m very impressed with this bra. Being a 36F, it’s nearly impossible to find lounge bras which contain assets without spillage, don’t result in a uniboob, let you breathe, yet don’t pull up the back band under the weight. This one is actually extremely comfortable, super light and breathable, and just works.I do wish that the cups went up a little bit higher on the sides and the straps were a little bit shorter though, as I’ve got some side cleavage going on. But it’s a lounge/sleep bra, so not that big of a deal. Going to order more.

Advertising slogan of this bra - So comfortable, you will forget you have it on. No way!. Didn't happen to me. I can perfectly feel its pressure around my chest and after few hours I'm dying to take ot off. I can't even emaging sleeping in it. And it's my size. I have 36" around my chest and I ordered 38, which I always buy in regular bras. So to get that fool freedom feeling they are talking about I probably have to buy 40" or even 42. But afraid it'll be too loose then. May as well wear nothing at all.And I realized it only AFTER I wore it for a day. I don't have a face to return a bra that I started to wear. So I have to keep it. Maybe it'll get better after washing, will see.And it makes my brest shape absolutely unflattering, it just presses boobs in like a sports bra but without the support.Same thing happened with Carol Martin front closure bra. I don't like them both. Waisted my money by trusting good reviews

The overall construction of this bra is not great - there's a 1 1/2 inch elastic at the midriff which has a thick uncomfortable seam on one side. There's also a gather-strip sewn into the front between the cups - it's not properly finished and feels like a "scratchy tag" which I lie on my side. I purchased a 44 (the largest size offered), but if they had a 46 or 48, I would purchase it again to see if the problems turned out to be size related.

This is a straight up granny looking bra ok? But it's sooooo comfortable and my boobs don't creep out of it at night like they do every other night time bra. Soft and fits as expected.I'm a 34 DD and got the 36 size and it's not as tight as I would like but still good. I ordered another in the really sexy beige color and went down a size

Very nice, I wear it at home because it gives you a “uniboob” look. Not flattering. It has minimal support but surprisingly more than other bras I have tried. You won’t be jogging but you could go out with it on. I’m a 36I (US sizing) so maybe a smaller breast wouldn’t have the uniboob problem. Good quality and pleasantly surprised.

Pros:- Very comfy- Came in a zippable clear plastic envelope that fits my Kindle perfectly and keeps it waterproof- Good value for the priceCons:- No padding. If you're feeling cold, everyone will know it.
