Bought this as I have cats and my boyfriend has allergies. Allergy pills weren't working. It was getting to the point where we couldn't even sit in the room and watch a movie without his constant coughing and throat clearing.I read about other options for allergy sufferers and read that air purifiers can help. So I got this.Bit pricey but it's helped with his allergies so much, he never coughs or has trouble with his breathing while he's in the room. And I was getting seriously fed up of listening to him moan and cough and moan and clear his throat and MOAN some more.On full it is quite noisy but with 5 levels to choose from you don't have to have it on the highest one. Level three is quiet enough to have on with a film and the first two are near enough silent.Also fairly aesthetically pleasing in a Matt black finish with blue display.I sometimes have it on even when he's nothere as it sucks up the dust in the air and makes the room feel and smell a lot fresher

Bought this as I have two large dogs and the dust etc they caused was doing my head in, the dust would be thick even when dusting everyday, now it’s a once a week wipe down. The fact you can hoover the filter is great. It doesn’t take up to much space either, nice tidy compact appliance, got to be honest well worth the money and I would recommend this air purifier

PROCertainly has helped my sleeping and the room feels fresher..With the fan at half speed (3/5) it keeps the air clear and is quiet enough for me to sleep.I use full speed (5/5) to "clear" the room for an hour or so when I have had the windows open.CON (so -1 star)I am noticing that some of the plastic on the control panel is wearing which is poor after 3-4 months of use.We get power cuts and it doesn't come back to the same state after power is restored (It stays off).

The UV light didn’t work and the instruction book gave a website , an e Mail and a phone number none of which existed So you can’t complain or even get advice . Had to return it to amazon who refuses to collect it even though I’m houseboundTerrible service
