Small to Read, but, Very Complete in a Small Sturdy Package
I wanted something that I could have with me at all times in my travels and that I could consult with no Wi-Fi or Off-Line.This little thing does that job perfectly. It fits in my carryon and takes very little space. It is well bound and rugged with quality paper. It is quite thorough and complete. With that comes the price of the very small print. It really is quite hard to read and this is with my glasses. I am able to get a quick idea of what is on the page in terms of countries, states, provinces etc., and I may also locate the capitals quickly, but the rest requires concentrated effort and even has me wishing for a magnifying glass at times when I am in low light.

A handy book for staying aware of current events
Up to date with lots of detail but VERY small print! (I guess you can't have one without the other.) I keep it by the table where I read newspapers and magazines, and it helps me understand the world better.

Do not purchase this!
Much too small to be useful. I needed a very strong magnifying glass to even see the names of the countries!

My son wanted an up-to-date atlas of the world and this is so much more than just maps! He is enthralled with all the details and spends hours reading through it!

What is good about this atlas is up to date maps reflecting current geopolitical countries, like South Sudan.

Plenty of maps, but still not enough!
I bought this recently as a present to myself, to help while away the long lockdown evenings. Plenty of maps covering all the world, and beautifully drawn. A pleasure to pore over. For years, I had used an old Phillips School atlas which was equally good, but only half as many maps, and outdated, as many cities and countries have since changed their name/boundaries, and anyhow, slowly coming apart. An atlas in two volumes.A few minor criticisms: Some of the maps fill two adjacent pages, but the page boundary gets lost in the fold.Country and state boundaries are often hard to see when they follow some other feature such as a river. I guess that this is a common problem.Altogether, an excellent atlas for reference when a news story refers to a city or country which you can't place in your mind.

A brilliant mini, pocket size atlas.
Considerable amount of detail, considering it is a mini atlas. I wanted it for the office, as a reference book, because from time to time I want to know in which country a particular town or seaport is located. I have owned other, larger size altas books from the Collins series, as I like the quality of the cartography and the detail.

A Brilliant Atlas
Bought as a Christmas present for my 15 year old son, he did ask for one and I thought it was a great idea, who doesn't like a good atlas!I checked atlases out in the shops and settled on this one, I think it's brilliant, it's a good size with good clear maps and of a decent enough size to be able to see everything and it is jammed with loads of information about all manner of geographical topics, eg population, climate, environment, it really is a fantastic resource. I would highly recommend this for anyone who just wants a great atlas or for anyone studying GCSE Geography as a useful aid.£30 in the shops, I paid £17 on Amazon, great deal, great service.

A World of Information
I bought this for my sister as a birthday present and was lucky enough to get this when it was discounted. The amount of information this Atlas has is amazing and my sister absolutely loved it.Would probably be too much for GCSEs but for anything beyond this has everything you need (and up to date)...or if you're like my sister and enjoy game shows this has got all the information you could ever need.
