Really pleased with this, recommended to me by a groomer to help keep my border collie tidy and he does have a bit of crazy coat he’s a mix of long and short hair. Left him soft and smooth and he fell asleep while I brushed him so it’s not painful on him.

I was a little bit dubious about spending £15 on a grooming brush, however I found the results to be so brilliant that I feel it is worth every penny. We have a working Cocker Spaniel who has a VERY thick coat. In between his trips to the groomers the hair on his lower back gets very thick and frizzy despite lots of regular brushing. After watching a YouTube tutorial of a dog groomer using this, I thought it would be worth trying.On the first use, I was shocked by how much loose fur the coat king managed to get out. There looked enough to make a small stuffed toy! Attached are the pictures showing how frizzy our dog's coat looked before and the second was taken immediately after using the coat king.I am so impressed and think it is worth paying that bit more money for, as it will massively reduce how frequently our Spaniel needs grooming as this can be used in between visits.

Whilst I'm not great at it, it does a fab job of getting the dead hair out. It's lightweight and easy to hold, it doesn't hurt him or pull like the furminator does not does it feel like it's scratching him. Now just wish I could get him to sit still long enough to do all of him.

Purchased to use with our English Springer Spaniel, works well, easy removes hair, the only improvement / option I would like is to be wider by by 25mm / 1 inch

Having tried a conventional brush and a slicker I bought this for my Working Cocker Spaniel's matted undercoat, and, well, WOW!Aside from easily removing the matting it was clear that it didn't bother him at all, and his coat felt smooth, soft, and laid easier.I'm now doing this once every few days and it is great. Well worth the money.

Our Spinone has a lot of hair and it gets very knotted. You can't cut their hair, only brush it. This brush is perfect for the job (if you can keep the dog distracted for long enough) and the cats love it as well!

I was a little skeptical about this product. I’d read the reviews but still wasn’t convinced that it would do the job. My Cocker Spaniels coat was so thick I didn’t think it would work, but was I wrong. It’s brilliant, couldn’t believe how much fur I took off him. Definitely recommend this product

Zerkratzt nicht die Haut, da die Zacken passend gebogen, nimmt richtig kräftig die Wolle raus, eben ohne weh zu tun, auch nicht versehentlich, UND ist nicht nur geklebt wie die Konkurrenz. Damit hält der Griff am Rest und geht nicht ewig auseinander. Top Kamm, absolut, auch für hohe Belastung und häufige Nutzung.

Scheint vorn weniger spitz und scharfkantig und damit weniger gefährlich zu sein als die günstigen Varianten. Ist aber auch nicht bei allen Rassen effektiv. Nutze es im Kopfbereich, Feinarbeit. Für meine 5 kg Hunde am Hals und den Ohren sehr angenehm, am Körper mir echt zu klein und damit zu langwierig. Der Winkel muss stimmen, definitiv minimiert sich im Vergleich zu den billigen Kämmen die Verletzungsgefahr und der Kamm arbeitet effektiv und liegt gut in der Hand.
