Great light. Keep in mind when you install that you push in and twist to the side to get it to stay.

Too Small. Amazon needs to inform users the size of the same. Its the size of toy bulbs almost an inch to 2 radius.

ive bought their bulbs before they are great. my husband broke one so hes not alowed to replace anymore.

I replaced 2 of the non-frosted bulbs with these because I didn't like the "spot light" effect that it made. These definitely cut that out but are still very, very bright. I ordered more to replace all of the original bulbs.I have now replaced all the original "un-frosted" bulbs and really like these. As I stated, they are quite a bit brighter, but the shadows are diffused. They don't seem to give off as much heat either. I would recommend them!

I have ordered many of these…the frosted ones in particular as they send off a more ambient light than regular harsh halogen. They are soooo hard to insert, I can't begin to describe it. I had to google it then look at a youtube video and even after a year of replacing them, I still have a dickens of a time! And by the way, they burn out more quickly than I would have expected. A pricey headache…but the only type bulb my kitchen fixtures will take.

I recently installed a small recessed light above a dark center staircase in my front foyer. The original bulb, a standard 50-watt halogen, cast a bright, harsh light and I regretted installing the fixture. Then I found this 35 watt bulb with a full FROSTED LENS. Wow, what a difference!!! Now the staircase is bathed in a soft, even light -- exactly the effect I was looking for. It is very difficult to find GU10 MR16 bulbs with frosted lenses, even at Home Depot. Some places sell the units with frosted bulbs, but it is not the same. You want the entire lens to be frosted in order to eliminate harsh shadows.

I was looking to replace some lighting over a small table. I couldn't figure out why all the lights we had bought were creating such a bad glare! Then I realized our originals were frosted! Believe it or not, I could not find any at Lowes or Home Depot that has a true frosted front to help prevent a glare! When I found this product I was so excited!! Not only did it come at a reasonable price, the delivery was quick and it was EXACTLY what we were looking for!!

I have this ceiling fan that has halogen lightbulbs, it was given to me for free and now I know why! The bulbs are blinding. You can angle the lights up a bit, but not enough to save your eyesight. As soon as we put it up I ordered these because they are frosted. They work fairly well at diffusing the light so there are less dark spots and you can go into my livingroom without wearing sunglasses, but a little more frost on the lens would've been helpful.

I use these lights in my bathroom and yes they provide good enough light that I can easily do my makeup and they are easy to install !
