I saw this on a YouTube advertisement.
This knife was cheaper than the one offered by the website. The website had a lower price at first glance, until the shipping and handling charges are added in. Then you're looking at $40 for the same exact product that is cheaper on Amazon. The knife is wicked sharp. I'm not sure about the finger hole, as I have not had a knife that has ever had a finger hole in it. I'm not sure how the grip will feel when the finger hole is used. The hammer marks are different than I would have expected. I would expect a larger diameter face on the hammer that would not make small pits or dents in the blade, as it would be difficult to shape a knife with this type of hammer. It looks more like the knife was formed with a large hammer and then the surface was peened using a small rounded pointed hammer to decorate the surface. In other words, the knife was not formed by the hammer that left the marks on the blade.Still a nice knife, and if it really is 62 RC hardness, should hold an edge well enough. Not sure I would want to split wood with it like in the demo though, I could use an axe for that. I'm happy with my purchase and would consider buying again from the company.

Love a lot about it but needed sharpening
It is amazing I only removed 1 star on a knife that arrived needing sharpening.. And It wasn't a quick sharpening either. So why 4 stars?I know how to sharpen blades and have the equipment so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.I am an avid cook and have Damascus blades and some Shun knives.. I really wanted a Viking Knife for chopping vegetables and some things I make.I absolutely Loved the weight, balance, curved edge and I even liked that hole in the blade to give me more accuracy. The sheath is awesome thick leather that was embossed. Much thicker than what I got with more expensive knives I bought. The blade came oiled and in a plastic bag to protect the sheath. I appreciated that.I worked on the edge and now it's absolutely perfect. It's also beautiful and I enjoyed working with it.If know how sharpen and hone a knife.. Or if you know a good sharpener then don't hesitate. If you don't want to bother sharpening it.. Take the chance anyway. You may get a sharp one like some people did. You can return it if it isn't... But truly feel it's worth sharpening. It's really an impressive heavy blade.Make sure you oil it after each use. I don't mind doing that...It's a good buy for someone that enjoys knives and it's impressive as a decoration also....

Looks nice. Not incredibly functional.
Pros:Well balanced. Appealing aesthetic value.Cons:The design is not as functional as it could be.The thickness of the blade makes it difficult to slice through denser objects like potatoes. The curvature of the blade demands extra observation to cut all the way through even small objects. The curved backside of the knife can't be used as a bench scraper. Out of the box it was covered in a sticky residue that was difficult to remove. Blade was not honed.
