Fresh Knight gets five stars! I initially purchased this retainer last December, and only used it barely once a week for six months, give or take, and then it completely stopped working. Despite it being well past the return date, I perservered and contacted Fresh Knight directly. With no questions asked, they immediately issued me a new case. That's what I call great customer service, and deserving of a great rating on that alone. Now, hopefully, this replacement case will outlive the old one.

The concept is simple - charge it up (red light turns to green while charging). After, place the mouth guard, press the button until it turns purple and wait for it to go off. However, what really happened is after it charged,I pressed the purple button and it eventually turned to red. If I tried to use it while disconnected it didn’t respond at all which tells me the battery doesn’t last. Someone from the manufacturer can contact me and tell me if I just got a bad one but so far my experience is - don’t waste your money.

My husband got this for his retainers and says it is really easy to use and the charge lasts a LONG time. His only concern is knowing whether or not a light can actually clean the retainers. This also ended the issue of his retainer tasting like soap. His last dentist visit he received high praise from the hygienist so it must not have caused issues. The device charges via micro usb, which might prove difficult to manage years from now. Certainly an opportunity to improve for the next model but not worth taking a star as it functions as expected.

After such a short time, it is hard to judge if it is actually disinfecting and cleaning. However, there is no evidence to show it isn't doing what it is supposed to do.One of its good features is the number of days between charges. The instructions say 25 but I will be recharging every 2 weeks (maybe 3) just to establish a routine so I don't forget to recharge it.

This is headed for the trash after a few weeks of use! Problem is that I can’t pry-it open with just my hands! It clicks shut too tightly. Broke a few nails trying. Now have a knife next to it to get it open. No need for this hassle.

Can't vouch for the effectiveness of the UV light, but I'm hopeful that it works.Two issues:1. The case tends to get turned on by other objects pressing on it in my toiletries bag.2. The case charges via micro-USB, which is annoying in 2025. It's one of only a few devices I own that still use this.

The product is easy to use and it did work for a few months. It is more convenient than using the water ultrasonic one i have but not as durable so not sure that the cost is worth it. I will not be purchasing again as this should work longer than it does and cost is higher than using the water ultrasonic ones. I recommend they change in design to allow replacement batteries as this may be the cause.
