Love it
Love it. Using it as my travel bag for a 2-3 days trip. If i have 1 side comment, i hope it has separate compartment for the laptop. It has laptop compartment but its in the same flap cover of the whole bag which makes the cover heavy when you opened it and have your laptop on it.

A spacious, well-made, and well-thought out bag
I travel often for work and leisure and often face the 7kg carry-on limit imposed by airlines. I wanted a lightweight bag (this being just 1.4kg, compared to the lightest roller I could find which was 1.7kg in comparison) that allowed me to get off a plane, through customs and on with my life as hassle-free as possible. The Peak Design Travel Backpack 30L does just that. It's really 27L in unexpanded form, and expanding it allegedly gets me to around 33L, without breaching the carry-on limits of 55x34x20cm. In comparison, the 45L version compresses DOWN to 35L, and being bigger, may subject you to unwanted attention by check-in staff.Inside, there's tons of space - I also picked up a Peak Design packing cube in small, and have 3 cotton t-shirts, boxers, 6 pairs of socks (for gym and daily), and 3 lightweight gym T-shirts (Airism from Uniqlo) stashed in them. That all but takes up a quarter of the internal space, leaving me with tons of remaining space for an iPad Pro 12.9", a power bank, an electric shaver, wash kit, a hoodie, my Steam Deck, 2 pairs of gym shorts, and a Peak Design Field pouch containing 6 charging cables and 1 Apple Watch charger, and a couple of USB sticks. The included compression/organization straps keep things strapped down so they don't move about so much. The front pocket is JUST a little undersized for my passport and wallet, and the zips catch on them as they traverse the corners, but I can mostly live with that since I tend to carry a small EDC bag that can hold my passport, wallet, keys, and AirPods Pro. The front pocket also easily accommodates a pair of Oakley sunglasses. It's not the cheapest bag out there, but Peak Design products last - I still have my 20L and 30L Everyday Backpack, and my 13" Everyday Messenger bag (all version 1) and they still look brand new.If I were to find fault with this bag, it would be that it isn't the greatest day bag - due to the way the back panel opens, it is harder to get things in and out of the bag compared to where zippers are located on a regular backpack.I wholeheartedly recommend the Travel Backpack for anyone looking for a great carry-on. Perfect for 3-5 day trips
