Wanted More!
I enjoyed the story, but felt it ended too abruptly! I would have like to see pregnancy progress, Cade's response to the baby, know why wedding was delayed, etc..It just stopped. Also, the insertion of Nicole and John's relationship felt rushed and forced, didn't add anything to the story. Would love a sequel with these characters.

maisey scores again with laughter
I have read her other series, discovered this one while looking up nasty comments others had made about a mystery I just hated. I thought I will read this Maisey Silver creek series and feel better. I stayed up until one a.m. reading books one and two got up the next day and laughed thru book 3, Unbroken. She always writes funny but Cade and Amber are fun together. Best friends and totally messed up people. The sex is good and I usually skip that. The problems are real but mostly need people to stop being afraid and cope and finally they do. There are Bison and Oreos in the story and I really like Oreos and Bison are cool. If you like a warm romance and family involvement and lots of fun snark along the way. Read this series.

Perfect conclusion to this series
Wow! This is my favorite of the series. Amber and Cade’s story is one we all knew was coming and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Maisey did her awesome story telling of two love stories again and I don’t know who’s story I loved more, Amber and Cade or Nicole and John. Just beautiful!

Unbroken, Silver Creek #3, by Maisey YatesGrade: C"My celibacy could babysit your celibacy."Cade Mitchell is still trying to get over the injury that ended his rodeo career and left him with a permanent limp and pain for the rest of his life. Along with the constant pain, Cade's personal life has suffered. Cade never expected to come back and work at the family ranch or feel like an employee instead of part owner. Add in the bad memories and old family secrets and Cade feels lost in a place that used to be home. The only constant in his life is Amber Johnson and when he finds she needs a hero, Cade steps up to the plate.Amber Johnson didn't start out on the right foot in Silver Creek but as a 16 year old kid in foster care she had never had a real home. It took awhile but her grandparents finally convinced her they wouldn't send her away and now Amber finally feels like she has a home. When that home becomes in jeopardy Amber will do anything to save it, even pretend Cade is her finace who is moving in. As time goes on Amber finds she likes having Cade around and can't deny the sparks that have flown between them for years. Amber must choose to explore a new side of her relationship with Cade or maybe lose him forever.I was really excited for Amber and Cade's story but after a disappointing beginning I was afraid that I was going to like this book even less than Untouched. I felt that everything moved very slowly and it took forever for Amber and Cade to act on their feelings. I'm not saying I wanted them to run straight to bed but it just became a repetitive scene over and over of why they weren't moving forward together.I liked Amber and Cade but I really liked the side story of Nicole and John a lot more. I actually wish that Nicole and John had their own book so we could have seen their relationship grow more and see Nicole deal with finding her family. In the second half of the book I really started to like Amber and Cade but things got to be very predictable. It's hard to keep reading a book that was already hard to get into when you know who the bad guy is and what's going to happen with the main characters. All in all this book was just okay. I wanted so much to love this series again but I just couldn't no matter how much I tried. If there are more books in this series I will not be reading them.

Best Silver Creek Yet!
Each Silver Creek I read is better than the last! The characters are well developed and likable. It's easy to fall in love with Maisey Yates heroes. Cade is a tortured hero and Amber has her own baggage. They are able to grow emotionally through the course of the book. Unbroken had more emotional depth than the previous two.
