The hotness of this light is well beyond my expectations, in that aspect it's suitable for broadcast work, and use from some distance. Overall, the construction seems great and sturdy, my only two complaints are that the power input is in a place that's easy to pull out, and should have been a more sturdy or locking type of plug, and that the dimming on these LEDs seems logarithmic rather than linear, so it can be tricky to get subtle variations in the color mix or low intensity range. Also, I would really like to have a grid and barn doors for this panel. Pretty happy with it for the price, though.

Everything arrived in working order. One adjustment screw for tripod had been tightened too much and was sticking out the other side, obviously too much as it broke the receiving housing. I was able to administer a fix though, no biggie. And for price, I wasn't expecting a super stable tripod, but even for expectations it's very weak and sensitive even to a breeze. Light is as promised, but I could have saved about $20 and just bought the light assembly and used an existing tripod I already had.

Bought these lights in order to set up my studio for head shots, has beautiful light that can be controlled, can adjust color temperature, am eager to begin using these for my headshots .
