They work well and you can see the sealant around the wire as you shrink it.Be sure to use a crimp tool for insulated terminals. This is a great set that I keep with my boating tool box in the back of the boat. A must have for proper marine security and keeps the elements out. I used these to connect landscape lighting wires, Just to make sure, after crimping and heat shrinking... I sealed them with liquid tape just for good measure (probably a bit of overkill), but I never want to chase down another corroded wire that is buried underground. I really liked how these crimped and sealed.

I wasn't really pleased with these connectors. The heat shrink is pretty thick and doesn't shrink well. I used a very hot gun and it took it several seconds. Using a lighter just made it melt away. That wasn't the reason for my 3 star rating though. The metal that is used must be metal that Iron Man used in his suit. I was trying to connect my car stereo with 20 ga and no matter how hard you squeeze to crimp it down the wire still comes out. It is very possible I don't have the strength to squeeze it down.

Garbage, dont even want to give 1 star. Heat shrink breaks when clamped down. Not enough surface area to get a good bite on wires to ensure good connections when clamped.

Some of the best heat shrink butt connectors I have ever used. I work in auto repair and they are buy far better then anything out there. You can clamp them as hard as you want without pinching through the insulation!

A great way to connect wires with a good permanent connection. Very easy to use .. just heat with a heat gun until solder melts on the wires.

Does not crimp well - wires pull out. Using a Klein crimper cables pull out easily, whereas with other similar (non-heat shrink) connectors grip tight on the same cables. Had to crimp using the cutter of a pair of pliers to geta tight crimp. Heat shrink works well.
