AMERLIFE Electric Fireplace Insert 28" -Freestanding Electric Fireplace Heater with Remote Control & Recessed fireplaces, 750/1500W, Black

We bought this for two reasons: our TV doesn't fit in the big open space in our entertainment center, and our furnace is out and the apartment complex isn't fixing it 'til Fall. (We live in a moderate climate and aren't planning on heating the apartment with this, just wanted it to take the edge off if we get a cool night.) This filled both needs quite nicely for an amazing price.The one downside, which others have mentioned: the remote is on the same frequency as most common TV remotes. Even if the unit is off, changing channels/volume with your TV remote will turn on the fireplace and/or heater, change colors and/or heat settings, etc. Not a deal breaker, especially for this value. I plan to get a WiFi plug so I can have Alexa kill the power to work around that.Well worth the money. Attractive, solid build, you won't be disappointed.

We purchased the 28” insert. It’s been less than a week, but so far we are impressed. We are temporarily staying in our RV because we are in the process of moving. I installed in the tv cabinet and adjusted the shelves to fit. This heater does a great job of warming our 35ft. RV. The flames are realistic and makes the space seem much more homey. I will note that you should make sure to leave clearance around the top of where you install this. The top get hot and it needs proper ventilation. I left about a 6 inch gap where I will install some sort of metal grille to vent and finish up the install.

The photo advertisement is misleading. The red color is in reality all red. The photo shows realistic yellow light in the fire and logs, but it is ou red light, so it isn't realistic flame, but decorative flame. The purple color is bizarre. If you like the abstract look.

I've looked all for weeks, for this specific fireplace insert, FINALLY I FOUND IT, the fireplace is the ceter focal point in our living room, I went through the Holidays without the heat, that I love so much, dealing with only the fire working, I'm extremely happy with the beautiful and realistic appearance, I highly recommend this unit. A little pricey, but the other's will not have this authentic look, I sent two back, you won't be disappointed

I’m still gonna give it 5 stars. Very nice. Flames are cool and different colors. Remote control is simple. Heater not that strong.

Great product , awesome price, easy to install and set up, looks and works great!

Started using the fireplace in September and it failed in November 2020. The connector from the heater to the circuit board failed.

good value if you want a heater with some ambient lighting
