Jonathan Green(11458) Contractor's Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (25 lb)

This is a good product to fill in areas where grass is hard to grow. Due to lack of rain, germination of the seed was slow, but after 2 to 3 weeks began to fill in nicely. For stubborn areas were grass hates to grow and soil has a higher acidity. Find that white clover is the answer. It makes for a thick sod and irregardless of the circumstances erosion will be halted. Perhaps not totally perfect but seed is very expensive. Ball spots in your backyard that just won’t grow. Grass is not attractive. This is the answer . A good product.

Love this grass seed. Just built a home and bought this grass seed and within 2 weeks we had grass sprouting, in a month it was very thick and green. Highly recommend this product for a fast growing grass seed.

I have tried so many different grass seeds within the last three years, that I almost gave up trying to have a nice lawn. But someone suggested this product, so when I ordered it I didn’t have a big hope for it to be successful. But within two weeks it’s unbelievable I have grass

Not contractors mix but short term grass seed.Do not think your buying one and done.You must per bag instructions buy two additional products, three for long term seeding.Not mentioned in listing. So be prepared to spend twice the list price or more. Sorry.

Over seeded (Heavily) my 1/4 acre last fall. Within a few weeks it germinated and took off... IN WINTER!. I couldn't cut it due to the weather and it not only kept growing, mine was the only green lawn in the neighborhood (TENNESSEE). Now that its grass cutting season, it still grows 4-6" a week. The only odd thing is the grass is a light shade of green opposed to a deep green in the surrounding area/lawns. Not a bad thing, I just figured green was green...
