PILOTColor Eno Mechanical Pencil, 0.7mm, 8 color set (Japan Import) [Komainu-Dou Original Package]

I’m fairly heavy handed when it comes to sketching. Graphite pencils/mechanical pencils tend to leave behind a lot of product making it hard for me to go over and refine the sketch. Pilot Eno Color’s have saved me from quitting on so many pieces. I’ve used this product for over 2 years in pink/cyan and have loved it since! It’s easy to write with, comfortable and fun to sketch with. It does have a tendency to break (due to my own fault of being too rough.) It builds up nicely. One thing to note though is that Pilot Eno Colors are water soluble. So, if you’re a water color artist like myself, expect your sketch to disappear/ mix into your colors a tad bit. Nothing too drastic tbh. I personally find this a plus as it adds a nice touch to my pieces. Lastly, I’d like to add that they’re MOSTLY erasable depending on if you’re heavy handed or not. 5/5 would recommend!

These things are excellent, I bought a ton of lead refills for them. They erase as well as a regular pencil if not better. The lead will break off just like a regular mechanical pencil, but if you don’t extend it out too much like you’re supposed to then it’s fine. Has really good pigmentation, and I’m pleased with the value of the lead and the colors it comes in. It’s perfect for what I need it for.

The lead is very soft and feels more like a crayon colored pencil then a mechanical pencil. The lead tens to break fairly easy even with just light pressure and you only get one refill so I'm pretty sure you will go threw that pretty quickly. The eraser doesn't do a very good job at erasing either. Still giving three stars because the colors are very pretty, and the pencils feel like there well made and feel good in your hand. They don't feel like a thin and cheap plastic like a lot of mechanical pencils do. Recommend purchasing refills if you buy this set.

Good color payoff and strong lead surprisingly. I was able to press hard without the lead breaking. Hate how small the eraser is though.Also to note they're not fully erasable which I knew was a possibility before buying but still a bummer. Buying some erasable colorful leads to replace the lead with.

Guys. Guys-guys-guys. I have searched across the land for something colorful to use in my Bible without bleeding through those wonderful but painfully delicate pages. Highlighters and pens marketed specifically for Bibles all feel like lies from you-know-who, am I right?! Diabolical! I didn't even know colored mechanical pencils existed and then stumbled upon these little game changers. I can write pretty clearly with the fine point and underline in my Bible with very little issue. Obviously colors like yellow and orange are pretty light on white pages, but they work super well for a more subtle underline. They break maybe a tad more easily than say a regular lead mechanical pencil, but I haven't experienced them just crumbling or breaking so frequently that I'd actually be frustrated by it. I haven't actually tried erasing them but imagine there would be some smudging with the general silkiness of Bible paper. I doubt they do erase very well generally, but I'm okay with that. I'm LOVING these and will stick with this brand when I need more lead. Could not recommend more for Bible study use. Hallelujah!

Love these pencils. I use these daily to colorcode my planner. The lead doesn’t break easy. They don’t erase well but great value for the money. The lead is soft and smooth. I have purchased others but these are the best functionally.

I am a Bible journaler, and I use these pencils to color code keywords and people in my Bible. They are erasable and easy to refill.
