Speedy, sturdy, easy to use
Really like this scooter so far. Used it to go get my shopping today and it was so nice to ride and very easy to fold up and hide it away in a safe place until I'm finished my shopping. Had some trouble at first with getting the steering column to lock in because instructions simply said to press the back break to unfold it and that's it. I actually had to unscrew two bolts to finally allow it to lock into place, but at least it came with the tools to do so. It is very easy to assemble once you realise you just need to loosen a few bolts if it's not able to lock in all the way, they are in the plastic part behind the front wheel, in front of the splash guard. Overall it feels very solid, has a wide platform to stand on which is nice, and it's very good value for money.

Does the job, at the price, but questioning it's longevity
Got this scooter to help me get to and from work quicker and I've noticed that after 1 week of use, the brake cable and handle is loose, which causes incredible squeaking noises as they rattle and the hinge for the folding has become noisy, it does however still work in all ways and does the job I intended for it. I think next time however, I will get a scooter with air tyres or similar, to help with rougher surfaces, as every single nick in the ground is transferred to the rider and makes for a fatiguing ride, likely just because of the type of wheel this has (as with most scooters). I'd say however it is worth the money, especially if just looking to experiment to see if a scooter works well for your situation or not, as it works and it is cheap (but doesn't feel or even look cheap). I will take what I learn from this scooter for whenever I buy a new scooter.

Sent a used one?
The product arrived scuffed with a bent wheel... looks used, not happy since it's a gift. Sent it back & hopefully the new one won't be the same. It's a shame because it does look as if it would be good but the bend wheel is causing it to be defective.

A few tweaks needed before use
I ordered three of these so I can take my children into town and wheel around the parks before getting the train home.A few initial reactions:its not light, and I am going to have my work cut out humping three of them around Londonthe disc brake rubs. A lot. That needs looking at so be prepared to get on your knees with the allen keysthe handlebars will remain a little loose, unless you really tighten them up as hard as you canIt folds up nicely, very slick. The way it stands on its own, without a stand, is class. It goes fast, and is very quiet (once you have sorted the brake out)brake stopping is good (as it would be with disc brake)It is solid, feels like it will hold up against the limitless abuse and neglect 10 and 13 year olds the world over are famous forLooks cool, nice wide footboardI will update once we have given them a proper hammering.

Gets daddy back from the school run 🏃♀️ toot sweet 🛴
The media could not be loaded. I won’t embarrass myself by posting a Video of riding the scooter 🛴 but it rides like any other having been on various kids ones. I’ll focus on a few features instead. As you can see from the photos this is definitely much bigger (and heavier) than a kids scooter. That means it can carry my 13st without grumbling.Build is slightly tank like but sturdy and feels it’ll take a few knocks. As you can see from the photo, the usable deck size is 40cm by 15cm which was comfortable for my size 9’s.Having larger wheels means less rolling resistance on bumpy pavements so in the few miles done so far on a school run it’s been smooth and a lot faster than my daughters smaller 2 wheeler. Can everyone ride it? The box says 8+ and that’s probably about right if you are going to carry it. However my 7 (125cm tall) and 9YO (132cm tall) has no problems at all with the handle bars a little lower.Great to see disc breaks on this too. They work very well but worth noting they are cable activated not hydraulic as on top end bikes. All in all I wanted something that was good to ride home from the school Run and take out with the kids on theirs and this fits that bill well for a sensible price and solid build quality.A couple of points to note 📝 If considering:1) the red tab to drop the handle bars is just in front of your foot. I haven’t tried pressing it mid scoot but I imagine it’s not pretty. One to be careful of for kids2) the folding mechanism is strong, however has a little play in it meaning the handle bar column has a small amount of play compared to a solid structure. It’s not big and to be fair I was looking for bad stuff. I didn’t notice it much when riding.3) the brake cable slightly gets in the way of your hand when the bars are low, but can be moved.

Wouldn't lock in upright position
Very sturdy and looks great but it's locking mechanism to keep the steering column upright did not work, hence it kept folding when I tried to use it. Didn't even get past garden gate on it. Tried an hour and a half to get it to lock then gave up and requested return.
