These lights are good for dark areas in which you just need a little light. They're not very bright but they're working for my application which is to light a dark stairway that goes down to the basement. I had to put 3 of them (1x about every 3 or 4 steps) in the stairwell to get the effect that I wanted. If I tried to put them high to get a lot of lit area, they were slow to respond to motion. So I hung them under the rail and they work really well. Each one comes on as I approach it, lighting the way as I go.I then bought another one of these to light a dark corner in the basement. Even when the basement light's on, this corner's just a little darker than the rest of the room and I'd hoped to supplement the light with one of these. It's really not bright enough to offer any help unless the basement light's off (which isn't often). It's also not incredibly sensitive, so I may re-position it to find a better "trigger" point.Just FYI, I have a Light Angel that is much brighter and more sensitive. Overall, the Mighty Lights are okay for specific jobs.

I picked one up when I just needed a light that would not stay on all the time, but would provide light during the night walking around the house. It was just what I needed, so I got a few for my Mom's place as she doesn't see well and has a couple of those dark spots on the way to her bedroom-perfect!

These little guys are fantastic. My son initially used one several years ago at his apartment door where there was no light - couldn't see the lock to open his door at night. I was pretty impressed at the time so when I decided I needed something to light my bedroom steps when my dog needed to go out at night (after missing a step and slamming into the door which really sucks at 3:00am), I immediately chose these. I placed one at the top with velcro at nose/foot height and another at the bottom. Now my dog stands at the top and waits for it to go on before he steps down the stairs and does the same when we come back in. Cute. They are not as bright as a lit ball field at night but perfect for my needs and help me to avoid perfecting my night time flying skills. I still have the one my son had used (it's 5 years old now and lights up just like day one) and use that for my bathroom. Just enough light to not jolt me awake but perfect to get to my "destination."

Very little help outdoors....a few tiny LED lights. Inside maybe of more practical use. Forget about using the "peel and stick" outdoors, also. First windy night....off it came. Also, I believe that 2 of these for almost $19.00 is overpriced, to say the least.

This is my second purchase of this product. I bought them last year and in 12 months of outdoor use, one is still working, one has not but I have yet to investigate why. At this price, I don't mind replacing them once a year. I have these mounted on posts on the pier where my boat is docked. The motion detector picks up my movement as I approach, stays on a little while then turns itself off. Perfect for my needs! I don't want a light to remain on all night and draw every bug in the Bay. The light spread is quite adequate and bright enough for me to see where I am stepping and what may be on the dock. I had two last year, this year I am going to spread out along the entire finger pier with 6. These take a 9-volt battery, and one battery lasted the entire season. Oh, and we had some bad weather last season.......VERY hot, tons of rain.....no problem, they kept on ticking. Maybe I shouldn't have left them there all winter......that might be why one is not working now.

Received items in original packaging however items had no markings or labeling of name of product or where made. Product did not match the markings pictured on packaging. I have several of these with labeling that I purchased in the past & are much brighter due to the reflective labels on front which are missing from the ones that I bought on line. I decided to return them due as I prefer the brighter ones with labels.

I absolutely love these lights, which is why I'm buying more! The motion sensor is VERY sensitive, able to pick up even the smallest of movements from a surprising distance. And, the BEST part about that is that it ONLY works in the dark. When there's plenty of light, these will not turn on and waste the batteries. The light they provide is diffuse, not in spotlight form so they light up a dark room quite well. I've payed more for other motion lights but they've all failed because the sensors would trip during the day, ALL day and the batteries would be toast within 24-48 hours. Oh, and these Mighty Lights will only stay on for 30 seconds unless even the tiniest of motion is detected like when I'm laying in bed typing reviews at 2:30 in the morning. Just the small motion of my fingers will keep it lit until I'm still again.I HIGHLY recommend these, especially if you live in a frequent storm followed by power outage kind of place like we do.

I keep buying these for new spots. I bought these in 2016 and they are still going strong. Very useful in the house as motion activated night lights and outside if I forget to turn on the light. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer. Overall great product.
