This cross looks and feels like it could be a very old piece. It's all one piece and the part the chain goes through is solid and doesn't move or dangle. It's real solid silver and doesn't seem to be plated. Very nice piece for anyone.

The cross is nice, I ordered this because I really liked the design of it, it's different than the other cross necklaces I have.The downside is that when it arrived, it does not look as well made as in the pictures. The details aren't as clear.If you're looking for an older antique washed out type of look, then this would be good for that.

I really wanted to like the cross. However we buy a Cross to be SEEN and for the details to be able to be seen and read. On this cross you cannot make out ANY of the writing the Greek of Jesus Conquers over Death (the skull) which you cannot make out the skull below his feet on the front. Furthermore the "protect n save" in Russian on the back cannot be read. Furthermore the details that I loved about the cross cannot be seen even with magnifying the details are blurry looking its NOWHERE near as clear, clean, or detailed like the highly detailed PICTURE on Amazon. So the entire premise of having an item for people to see is defeated. It looks like the large cross shape with unreadable details inside. The details are important for being seen. In my pictures it is magnified and you still have a hard time seeing the details. Definitely NOT worthy of the price.

I had high expectations of this cross, but unfortunately it didn’t meet any. It looks good from far but once you are close by you see the lack of detail and design has washed away kind of look. I got it to be use for my son’s baptism and I ended up buying a wooden little cross for him at the church where we have baptized him. I would not recommend this particular cross, unless you don’t care about the detail in the design.

This pendant is beautiful, beautifully detailed. The engraving on it front and back are super clear. It's got a good lightweight to it and it's a pretty good size but still on the smaller end. Extremely good value and the detail on it is perfect. This would be a good addition to anybody's jewelry collection. Definitely would be a good gift

I'm not particularly religious but this cross somehow appealed to me so I ordered it. It's really very pretty and the size is nice. I can't translate any writing that is on it - according to the description it is in Russian. If nothing else, this cross is a conversation piece.The loop used for stringing the cord through is quite large so it would be easy to hang either on a silver chain or the black cord that comes with the cross. It comes with a small drawstring pouch for gift giving and the black cord.It is sterling silver (according to the description) so is probably worth the price. I haven't bought a lot of jewelry recently so I'm a bit out of touch with pricing on SS jewelry.The details on the piece are a bit hazy (as in they are not crisp and clear) but I find that part of it's charm. No pun intended.
